Strides Foundation is a registered nonprofit organization based in Fajara, The Gambia. We work with children, women, youth, and families to reduce poverty in ways that last, without creating dependence on aid. We are new, and we are serious about doing this well.

A children's garden programme we deliver with the generous support of a partner foundation. We design the weekly lessons and lead the classes, where children learn to grow food, care for the environment, and work together in a garden built from reused tyres.
What we lack in years, we make up for in planning, honesty, and a real commitment to the people we serve. Smiling Seedlings shows what we can deliver when a partner backs our work. We welcome partners, volunteers, and supporters who want to build something steady with us.
